Interchangeable hardware included with the stand enables you to do both. Secure your pad using the hex nut on the bottom. When you want to use the stand with a cymbal, just replace the hardware with the cymbal bolt and washers and you''re good to go. Two extension sections enable height adjustments from 24" (for seated pad practice) to 48" for proper cymbal stand placement. Pivoting mounting bracket has an extra wide plate for increased stability and durability. Keep pad or cymbal at a level setting, or tilt it to your desired angle. Thick non-slip rubber foot caps provide stability and floor protection, and the double braced legs provide extra strength and durability. You will not find a better stand for your practice pad.
